Markus works in the field of fund structuring and advises domestic and foreign investors and managers on all corporate and regulatory matters. Another focus of his work is general corporate law, in particular advising national and international companies on stock corporation and capital markets law.
Education and Career
Markus studied law in Bonn. He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne, which included stints with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, an international law firm in Düsseldorf as well as SMP. Afterwards Markus completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporate & Commercial Law at the University of Dundee.
