Somer advises fund managers on all legal and regulatory aspects related to the structuring of Venture Capital and Private Equity Funds. His focus is on corporate and contractual matters, in particular the drafting and negotiation of fund terms.
Education and Career
Somer studied law in Göttingen and at King‘s College in London. Afterwards he worked in a Magic Circle law firm and completed a research stay in Damascus during his PhD at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. His legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg included positions at the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection and the european crypto investment firm Greenfield Capital.
