Take your legal and tax expertise to the next level with a concentrated load of practical experience. With us, you will gain an insight into the work of a law firm and experience how consulting will work in the future.
Your time at YPOG won't feel like an internship, because with us; you'll be right in the thick of things instead of just being there! From day one, you will be firmly integrated into the team, get to know processes, and experience how your theoretical knowledge can be applied in practice. In other words, you really get to know all facets of your future job.
Of course, at YPOG you will always have colleagues at your side who will accompany you in your day-to-day work and introduce you to client work. You will also be a regular at our law firm and training events, regardless of whether you are completing a mandatory internship, want to get a taste of law firm life on a voluntary basis, or are on board as part of our summer internship program "rYsing stars".

rYsing stars
The internship for law students
In the summer, you will have the opportunity to be part of our team for four weeks and help shape the day-to-day work of our law firm alongside our experts. Digital, flexible; and close to the client, you will work on projects and support your team in all tasks and challenges that need to be tackled.
You will work with a tutor in the specialist area of your choice and may even have your first contact with clients. In various lunch sessions, you will get to know our core areas and what else a law firm needs to be commercially successful. Our internship program takes place across all offices. This gives you the opportunity to choose your preferred location and build up a nationwide network as an intern.
"rYsing Stars" is recognized as a mandatory internship. As a thank you for your support, you will receive pocket money of 500 euros.

Internship outside of rYsing Stars
If you don't have time during "rYsing Stars" or are interested in an area of activity other than legal and tax advice, we will try to make an internship possible outside of the summer program. Just get in touch with us and let us know when you would like to get a taste of which tasks.

Then send your application documents to karriere@ypog.law by April 30, 2024. We need your CV and your intermediate examination certificate. Please also let us know which location and which departments are of interest to you.
You can also apply for internships outside of "rYsing stars" with your CV and certificates. There is no deadline for this.

What happens next with your application?
Once we have received your application, we will get back to you within a week. If we are interested in your profile, you will meet your potential team (virtually, if you wish) for an introductory meeting. This way, we can both get an impression of whether an internship with us is the right step for you.

...at YPOG we are on a first-name basis from the very beginning. You are welcome to omit the formal "you" (“Sie” auf Deutsch) in your application.
