Ben is an IP/IT/Data Protection partner in London. He primarily advises high-growth and IP-rich clients (typically VC-backed) with their commercial contract, IP, and data protection needs. He has advised several unicorns. He has a deep interest and belief in the power of AI and the need for innovation in legal services. Ben oversees the strategic implementation of legal tech projects across the firm, including Raise AI (developing AI agents for VC transactions).
Education and Career
Ben worked at Withers (2018–2025), JAG Shaw Baker (2013–2018), and Brown Rudnick (2011–2013). He studied law at the University of Kent in Canterbury, UK (LL.B – 1st class degree) and King's College London, UK (LL.M – distinction). He also holds higher rights of audience in the Senior Courts of England and Wales. Ben is a trustee of Spinal Muscular Atrophy UK, a UK charity supporting individuals affected by a severe neuromuscular disorder.
