Oliver specializes in M&A-transactions, venture capital and general corporate law. In particular, Oliver advises and represents investors, start-ups, corproate venture capital units and domestic and foreign institutional and strategic investors and corporations on all matters related to financing rounds, acquisitions, joint ventures, and exit transactions.
Education and Career
Oliver studied law in Cologne. Before completing his doctorate at the University of Cologne on information liability in the acquisition of shares in German limited liability companies, he completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne with stations including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, the German Embassy in Bangkok, and the German Consulate General in Miami. Before joining YPOG, Oliver worked for seven years as a Senior Associate at Hengeler Mueller in Düsseldorf with a focus on M&A and private equity.
