Mary is a corporate lawyer specialising in venture capital transactions. Mary advises clients in a variety of technology sectors, with a particular focus on life sciences. She also advises on university spin-outs, restructuring transactions, as well as general corporate governance and board and shareholder advisory matters.
Mary is based in our Cambridge office and acts for a number of Cambridge based clients.
Education and Career
Previously Mary has worked at Withers (2018 - 2025), JAG Shaw Baker (2018) and Cambridge based law firm, Taylor Vinters (2013 -2018), which is where she started her legal career as a paralegal and undertook her solicitor training. She studied law at the University of East Anglia, Norwich (LL.B - 2:1 (Hons)) and her legal practice certificate at BPP Law School, London. Mary was recognised as a Recommended Lawyer for corporate law in Cambridge by the Legal 500 in 2025 and 2024.
