Education and Career
Tina holds a BA from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, and a JD from Boston University School of Law. She is qualified to practise law in both New York and England and Wales. She trained and practised at leading US law firms, where she developed a strong reputation advising on biotech IPOs and venture capital transactions, before becoming one of the most influential lawyers in the UK venture ecosystem.
In 2013, Tina co-founded the boutique firm JAG Shaw Baker in London with James Shaw, a partner at YPOG, deliberately creating a specialist venture capital practice that quickly became one of the most prominent and influential in the UK market. In 2018, the firm merged with Withers to form Withers tech, widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading platforms for venture capital and technology work. The founding team has since reunited at YPOG.
