Find your W@Y gives you the opportunity to be supported on your career path by a personal mentor for a full year. The focus is on personal and professional exchange. Your mentor's experience can help you to clarify any questions you may have about your next career steps and eliminate any uncertainties.

What you can expect

Mentoring

Your mentor is looking forward to meeting you regularly for a personal exchange over lunch or dinner. She will also be available at short notice to answer any questions you may have about your professional development. 

Through this exchange, you will gain valuable insights into the day-to-day work of a commercial law firm and get to know both YPOG and our YPOGees better. 

 

Female Development

You will be invited to a variety of training events that are specifically aimed at women. Among other things, the focus is on communication and presentation training, as well as applicant training.

 

Networking

Twice a year, we organize a meeting for all mentees and mentors at one of our YPOG locations. These events will give you the opportunity to talk to many other women and expand your personal network.

When does it take place?

Duration: 12 months

Start: June
(individual arrangements are possible)

Kick-off event: June 20, 2024 in Berlin

How to become part of our mentoring program:

Send your application documents to karriere@ypog.law by May 31, 2024. We look forward to receiving your CV and some brief information about which location and, if applicable, which departments are of interest to you.

What happens next with your application?

Once we have received your application, we will get back to you as soon as possible. If there is sufficient capacity, you will receive a suggestion for a suitable mentor and get to know them in a one-to-one meeting. If you already know a colleague or have one in mind, please let us know.

The aim of getting to know each other is to establish as trusting a relationship as possible between you and your mentor. The program will then start with a kick-off event in June 2024, during which you will also get to know the other mentees and mentors.
