YPOG advises Vorwerk Ventures on structuring €150 million early-stage fund

Berlin – A YPOG team co-led by Stephan Bank and Julian Albrecht provided comprehensive advice to Vorwerk Ventures on the structuring of its latest early-stage fund with a total volume of €150 million. The fund focuses on investments in European startups and strives to build the next generation of tech unicorns. With its recently closed fund, Vorwerk Ventures will primarily participate in Seed and Series A financing rounds.

With this new fund, Vorwerk Ventures has already closed four generations of funds with a total volume of €500 million and has invested in more than 40 startups. It holds participations in various renowned venture financed companies, such as Thermondo, Everdrop, Planted and Avi Medical. Operating independently since 2019, Vorwerk Ventures was also one of the first investors in the DAX-listed company Hellofresh and the delivery service Flaschenpost, which was sold to Oetker for approx. €1 billion.

Vorwerk Ventures has already relied on YPOG’s expertise in connection with the structuring of its previous fund generation in 2019. In addition, YPOG advises Vorwerk Ventures on an ongoing basis on its investments, such as most recently with respect to Alpakas and Medkitdoc, as well as on exit transactions.
