Berlin – While working at SMP, members of the YPOG team advised venture capital firm BlueYard on its latest investment in Berlin-based software company Wonder Technologies. In addition to BlueYard, EQT Ventures invested in the web application for video conferencing as part of this Series A financing round. BlueYard received comprehensive legal advice. The team already advised the investor on a number of financing rounds, including its investments in Pitch, deepstreamHub and Marvel Fusion. In addition, BlueYard is advised on all aspects of fund formation and fund structuring - including digital assets. Ansgar Frank and Stephan Bank took the joint lead on this mandate.

BlueYard is an early-stage investor headquartered in Berlin. The company was founded in 2016 by Ciarán O'Leary and Jason Whitmire. Wonder Techologies (formerly YoTribe) is a software company based in Berlin. Founded in 2020 by Leonard Witteler, Stephane Roux and Pascal Steck, the company offers a free web application to facilitate a group of users to share via flexible video group spaces.
