Benjamin advises on fund structuring and transactional matters. His practice focuses in particular on advising managers of venture capital and private equity funds on both domestic and international fund structures, as well as on all related legal aspects.
Another core area of his practice is advising startups and investors on venture capital transactions. His work includes advising on financing rounds, structuring convertible loans, implementing employee participation programs, and supporting the establishment of corporate governance structures.

Education and Career
Benjamin studied law at the University of Münster and at the Humboldt University in Berlin. He then worked as a research assistant at SMP and at Freshfields in the Corporate / M&A department. He completed his legal traineeship at the Berlin Court of Appeals (Kammergericht), including stations in Cape Town as well as at KENFO - Fonds zur Finanzierung der Kerntechnischen Entsorgung (Fund for the Financing of Nuclear Waste Disposal).

- UVC Partners on the structuring on its fourth main fund with a total volume of € 250 million
- DBAG on the majority investment in ELF Capital Advisory GmbH and on the GPs of the three ELF debt funds.
