YPOG advises amberra on the structuring and fundraising of its amberra fund


Cologne, September 5, 2024 – YPOG provided comprehensive legal and tax advice to amberra, the corporate venturing studio of the German Cooperative Financial Group (Genossenschaftliche FinanzGruppe), on the structuring of its first fund. The successful first closing of the amberra fund, in which numerous banks and other companies of the Genossenschaftliche FinanzGruppe participated, took place on August 30.

The YPOG team co-led by Sebastian Schödel, Julian Albrecht and Niklas Ulrich included in particular Dana Ritter, Somer Hidar and Andreas Bergthaller. The amberra fund will focus on investing in innovative start-ups in the DACH region, with the intention of participating in financing rounds primarily from Series A upwards.
