Jan advises banks, debt funds and other lenders, start-ups, scale-ups and other corporate clients, private equity and VC funds, and other investors on all sorts of debt financings (lender and borrower side) with a focus on venture & growth debt, acquisition financings and fund finance. Additionally, he advises on transaction and corporate law in connection with investments in FinTechs and DLT projects.
Education and Career
Jan studied law in Heidelberg and in Vilnius, Lithuania. He completed an LL.M. degree at the University of Texas at Austin, USA. Before joining YPOG, Jan has worked as a research assistant for several major international law firms. During his legal clerkship, he furthermore worked in a department of the German Federal Chancellery and at the German-Colombian Chamber of Commerce in Bogotá.
