DEMECAN announces another financing round

Berlin – While working at SMP, members of the YPOG team advised medical cannabis producer and wholesaler DEMECAN on its new financing round. New investors as well as several existing shareholders participated in the investment in the upper single-digit million range. DEMECAN already relied on the expertise of the law firm in previous financing rounds and was again comprehensively legally advised by a Team led by Martin Schaper. The financing will be used for further growth and the expansion of the production facility near Dresden into Europe's most modern facility for the cultivation and further processing of medicinal cannabis.

"DEMECAN operates as the only independent German production and trading company for medical cannabis in a growing market. We are pleased to be part of the developments," said Martin Schaper.
