insureQ announces another financing round

Berlin – While working at SMP, members of the YPOG team advised Munich-based insurance startup insureQ on its recent financing round led by early-stage investor Nauta Capital. In addition, Rocket Internet's investment arm Global Founders Capital invested in the InsurTech company. The company now plans to use the fresh capital to establish an international partner network to drive strategically growth and to further expand its Team. insureQ received comprehensive legal and tax advice from a team consisting of Frederik Gärtner, Benjamin Ullrich, Malte Bergmann and Pia Meven. SMP has already advised the Munich-based startup last summer – at that time in the course of its financing round with another participation of Rocket Internet through its pre-seed fund Flash Ventures.

"Digitalization in the insurance industry is continuing at a rapid pace and we are pleased to be able to accompany successful companies like insureQ in their growth right from the start," says Frederik Gärtner. "The renewed commitment of such renowned investors again demonstrates the great potential of InsurTech and FinTech. Congratulations to our client on this success," adds Benjamin Ullrich.
