Hamburg – A YPOG team co-led by the partners Jörn Wöbke and Stefan Witte comprehensively advised Hamburg-based private equity investor BPE on the acquisition of the OPEN Group. The OPEN Group was acquired as an Owners Buy-out together with the founders and other managers of the Group.
The OPEN Group is a tech-focused digital agency with around 250 employees in Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg, Kassel and Frankfurt. Its focus is on supporting customers in optimizing and digitizing their sales through IT technology and digital agency services. As a full-service provider, OPEN specializes in web development, CRM, digital strategies, storytelling, communication and digital sales for clients such as Mercedes, HDI.global, Fraport, SAMSUNG, AUDI and RTL.
The YPOG team, whose expertise BPE already relied on in several other projects, most recently in particular on the acquisition of the MSM Group (Full-Service-Digital-Provider) completed at the beginning of this year, advised on all legal and material tax issues.
