YPOG has provided legal advice to early-stage investor 42CAP on the Series B financing round of Berlin-based AI infrastructure startup Qdrant with a total volume of 50 million US dollars. The round was led by AVP (Advance Venture Partners) with participation from 42CAP, Bosch Ventures, Unusual Ventures and Spark Capital.
Qdrant is developing an open-source vector database that serves as core infrastructure for modern AI applications and can be deployed seamlessly in cloud, onpremise and edge environments. With the new capital, the company plans to further scale its technology, accelerate product development and drive international market expansion.
42CAP’s participation in the Series B round continues its early support for Qdrant. In the previous financing round, the EUR 28 million Series A financing, YPOG had already provided comprehensive legal advice to 42CAP.
“We are delighted to once again advise 42CAP on a significant financing round for Qdrant. This transaction highlights how the collaboration between visionary investors and innovative deep‑tech founders is currently shaping the AI landscape in Europe,” says Dr. Frederik Gärtner, Partner at YPOG.
