YPOG has advised the healthtech company Eterno on the full acquisition of Berlin based medical practice software provider Doc Cirrus.
With the transaction, Eterno is expanding its cloud based software solution for medical practices and acquiring Doc Cirrus’ certifications, interfaces and infrastructure.
Doc Cirrus has been developing cloud based medical practice software since 2012 and, according to its own information, is used by more than 8,000 doctors. Eterno develops a cloud based platform for medical practices that combines appointment scheduling, patient history taking, documentation, billing and practice management, among other functions. According to the company, the software is already used by more than 2,000 medical doctors and is increasingly supported by artificial intelligence.
With the acquisition, Eterno intends to integrate the two companies organizationally and technologically. The employees of Doc Cirrus are expected to transfer fully to Eterno, with the combined business to operate under the Eterno brand in the future. The transaction also gives Eterno access to the certifications, interfaces and infrastructure previously contributed by Doc Cirrus.
