YPOG has advised the US corporation LIVEKINDLY Collective on the acquisition of Munich-based Greenforce Future Food AG. Both corporate groups focus on the production of plant-based foods.

Greenforce was founded in Munich six years ago and has since developed plant-based foods for the European market. Its portfolio includes plant-based alternatives to meat, eggs and cheese, which are available through food retail and other distribution channels. Greenforce thereby addresses the growing demand for sustainable and resource-efficient food alternatives in the European market.

With the acquisition of Greenforce, LIVEKINDLY is strengthening its strategic position in the plant-based food segment and expanding its presence in Germany, one of the most important European markets for plant-based foods.

“We are pleased to have supported LIVEKINDLY Collective in this strategically important transaction and to contribute to the further growth of the plant-based ecosystem,” says Dr. Oliver Junk, Associated Partner at YPOG.
