YPOG has advised Verdane together with PWWL and GNP on an investment in ETERNO. ETERNO is a Berlin-based healthtech company that has developed an AI-native operating system for outpatient care.
ETERNO offers ETERNO Cloud, a fully integrated, cloud-based operating system for doctors and therapists that automates administrative processes from patient access and clinical documentation to billing and analytics. By integrating artificial intelligence, the platform enables healthcare providers to significantly reduce administrative workload and improve patient care. More than 2,000 doctors in Germany already use ETERNO Cloud in their daily practice operations.
With the partnership, ETERNO aims to scale its platform, expand its technological leadership, accelerate commercial rollout and pursue selective strategic acquisitions. The company employs more than 150 people and addresses one of Europe's most fragmented and least digitalised markets. In Germany, more than 170,000 outpatient physicians still work with outdated legacy systems, and across Europe around 2 million doctors work in outpatient care.
Verdane is a specialist growth buyout investor that supports tech-enabled and sustainable businesses that help to digitalise and decarbonise the European economy. Verdane funds have raised over EUR 10 billion in capital and have made more than 200 investments in fast-growing businesses since 2003.
