YPOG is further expanding its expertise at the intersection of law, technology, and artificial intelligence: Marc Ohrendorf joins the firm as Product Partner and will play a key role in advancing the development of AI and legal tech. In particular, he will be responsible for the productization of legal services and for implementing YPOG’s tech-strategy.
Marc Ohrendorf is a lawyer and expert in artificial intelligence and legal tech. Most recently, as Chief of Staff to the international AI Management Board at Osborne Clarke, he helped drive the firm’s global AI strategy and promoted cross-border collaboration among stakeholders. In this context, he also founded and led the firm’s international AI Ambassador Network.

Before joining Osborne Clarke, Marc Ohrendorf held senior positions in the publishing and media industry, including responsibility for product development and digital growth of legal information and career platforms. He is a lecturer in Legal Data Science at Bucerius Law School and a director at the Bucerius Center on the Legal Profession, where he focuses on the impact of digitalization and AI on the legal market. As founder and host of the legal career podcast “Irgendwas mit Recht”, he has also shaped the discourse on careers, innovation, and transformation in the legal sector for years.
Marc Ohrendorf studied law in Bonn and completed further studies and training in Prague, London (LL.M.), and Maastricht. He is an INSEAD alumnus and completed executive education programs at Harvard Law School.
