Elmar Trautmann

Education and Career

Elmar studied law at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) and at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. After graduating, he worked as a research assistant in the field of corporate/energy at Linklaters in Berlin. His legal clerkship included positions at White & Case in the field of corporate/M&A in Berlin and a commercial law firm in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Before joining YPOG, Elmar worked as an Associate at Noerr in Berlin, where he advised strategic investors and corporations M&A transactions, in particular in the field of renewable energy.
