Education and Career
Lea studied law at the HU Berlin and the Sapienza Universitá di Roma. After her first state examination, she completed a Master's programme in ‘Law and Digital Technologies’ at Leiden University (Netherlands).
During her legal clerkship, she worked in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications practice group of an international law firm in Berlin and held further positions in the policy department for digitalisation at the Federal Ministry of the Interior and at Germany's digital association Bitkom. In parallel to her legal clerkship, Lea worked as a research assistant at a start-up in Berlin.
After completing her second state examination, Lea worked as a research assistant at Bitkom while completing her doctorate and was also an associate researcher at the Weizenbaum Institute in Berlin.
