YPOG advised the AI powered manufacturing startup Isembard on its market entry into Germany.
The advice covered the tax structuring of the inbound investment into Germany, particularly the development of a transfer pricing concept between the UK parent company and the German subsidiary. In addition, YPOG assisted Isembard in preparing procurement and distribution agreements for the German market.
Isembard develops AI powered solutions for industrial manufacturing and operates factories producing high precision components. Its proprietary software platform, MasonOS, supports the planning and management of production processes and is designed to make manufacturing more efficient and scalable for industries such as aerospace, defense, energy and robotics. The London based startup combines its own production facilities with a network of franchise partners.
As part of its expansion, Isembard plans to open a total of 25 AI powered factories by the end of 2026. The USD 50 million raised for this purpose will also be used to expand its engineering teams and support its international expansion. Germany is part of the company’s planned expansion across Europe.
