Berlin, June 17, 2025 – YPOG has provided comprehensive legal advice to European AI defense company Helsing on its 600 million EUR Series D financing round. The round was led by Prima Materia, with participation from Lightspeed Ventures, Accel, Plural, General Catalyst, SAAB, and new investors BDT & MSD Partners. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.

This Series D round follows the 450 million EUR Series C financing in July 2024, in which YPOG also advised Helsing. Since the company’s first financing round in November 2021, YPOG has supported Helsing in all subsequent capital raises.

Helsing develops AI-based software solutions for the defense sector and is considered a leading technology company in the field of all-domain defense innovation. Founded in 2021, the founder-led company is committed to enabling democratic societies to make sovereign decisions and enforce their own ethical standards in the security domain.
